Carlow Mental Health Association is inviting 50 Carlow businesses to become ambassador along with them, on a public campaign of Mental Health awareness in County Carlow.

Carlow Mental Health Association is a volunteer organisation established in 2010; with the vision to promote positive mental health, reduce stigma around mental illness and suicide. They are affiliated to Mental Health Ireland and a registered charity.

For the MENSANA event on World Mental Health Day the 10th of October 2025, they are embarking on a public campaign to create awareness and ignite conversations about “the elephant in the room”, eg. mental health, suicide, depression etc.

Note:

1. Your business would have an opportunity to have the "Elephant" at your premises. (Collection and delivery of Elephant will have to be done by yourself, as CMHA is not able to facilitate this)

2. You’re Company logo would be put on the elephant

3. Registration and payment cut off upload is the 30th of June 2025

4. Invite to Launch (10th of October)

Click on the link below for more information and register now.

✨ Thank You for Celebrating the Summer Solstice with Us! ✨

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday evening at Brownshill Dolmen for our Summer Solstice Celebration – what a magical and memorable night it was! 🌞🌿

We’re especially grateful to Fergal Bowne for his captivating talk on the rich history and legends of Carlow’s iconic Dolmen stone – a truly fascinating insight into our local heritage. 🗿📚

A huge thank you as well to Sylvia Shirley for guiding us through a beautifully calming crystal singing bowl sound bath. Your soothing tones helped create a sense of peace and connection that perfectly honoured the longest day of the year. 🧘‍♀️💫

To everyone who came along with open hearts and mats or blankets in hand – thank you for being part of this special community moment. It was a joy to share nature, history, and mindfulness together under the solstice sky.
