Turn2Me offering free online migrant support

Turn2Me’s online offer includes a weekly Migrant Support Group every Friday at 7pm, alongside access to six free counselling sessions for people registering with the code “IPAS”.

Turn2Me are currently offering free, trauma-informed online counselling and weekly support groups for migrants. This national online support may be helpful for people in Cavan and Monaghan who want to access support from home.

The Migrant Support Group takes place every Friday at 7pm. The group runs in a private online chat where people can type at their own pace, and it is led by a trauma-informed counsellor in a safe and confidential setting. Turn2Me’s support groups page also describes its groups as facilitated online discussions with peers in a safe space.

People looking for one-to-one support can also access six free consecutive counselling sessions online. To get started, create a free account on the Turn2Me website, go to the counselling section, and enter IPAS in the reference code section when registering.

Turn2Me’s one-to-one counselling page says its counsellors are qualified professionals and that six-session support is available online through a secure service. Their wider platform also offers moderated support groups and other mental health information online.
