Carlow Mental Health Association is inviting 50 Carlow businesses to become ambassador along with them, on a public campaign of Mental Health awareness in County Carlow.

Carlow Mental Health Association is a volunteer organisation established in 2010; with the vision to promote positive mental health, reduce stigma around mental illness and suicide. They are affiliated to Mental Health Ireland and a registered charity.

For the MENSANA event on World Mental Health Day the 10th of October 2025, they are embarking on a public campaign to create awareness and ignite conversations about “the elephant in the room”, eg. mental health, suicide, depression etc.

Note:

1. Your business would have an opportunity to have the "Elephant" at your premises. (Collection and delivery of Elephant will have to be done by yourself, as CMHA is not able to facilitate this)

2. You’re Company logo would be put on the elephant

3. Registration and payment cut off upload is the 30th of June 2025

4. Invite to Launch (10th of October)

Click on the link below for more information and register now.

Minimum available spots left.

Carlow Mental Health Association would like to sincerely thank the Carlow District Soccer League for the opportunity to attend their recent AGM and present each club with a series of information booklets from Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland.

These resources highlight key areas where young people may face difficulties and offer guidance for those who want to help — whether it’s teammates, friends, coaches, or family members. By making these booklets available through local clubs, we’re helping to ensure that support is visible and accessible within the heart of the Carlow soccer community.

Together, we can continue to create a culture where mental health is supported, conversations are encouraged, and no one feels alone.
