Description

The Engage with Mental Health Community Workshop is delivered by Mental Health Ireland (MHI) volunteers across Ireland. These interactive, community-led workshops explore mental health themes, challenge stigma, and build connections within the community.

The workshops are designed to be accessible and engaging for all community members — no prior knowledge of mental health is needed. They provide a safe space to learn, share experiences, and support one another.

Typical workshop content:

  • What is mental health and why it matters
  • Recognising when someone may be struggling
  • How to start a conversation about mental health
  • Reducing stigma and promoting community wellbeing
  • Local support resources and services

Workshops can be tailored to the needs of your community group, organisation, or event. Contact Mental Health Ireland to request a workshop for your group.
