The course is designed for anyone who wants to be a better listener and a more supportive presence for the people around them. It is particularly relevant for those supporting young people, but is open to all ages.

What you will learn:

  • What empathy is and why it matters
  • The difference between empathy and sympathy
  • How to listen actively and without judgement
  • How to respond in a supportive and empathetic way
  • Common mistakes to avoid when supporting someone

The course is fully online and self-paced. No registration is required.
